Just like vitamins, they are just not a good choice in comparison with natural food. Vitamins are manufactured for busy people who may skip meal or not have enough nutrition.  Since we are going to take good care of our body, taking a good diet is a good place to start. This is one of the main reasons why people are more proned to aging faster. The pressure that comes from changes which has been a necessity for us to keep up with and to continuously learn and grow in order to be able to be a part of the moving member in the moving world has contributed to many of us becoming old faster than our chronological age. And yet this is something that we seem to be not able to stop because by slowing down our pace, we can't keep up with others after some time.
